AD7478AAKSZ-REEL7 is a high speed, low power, successive-approximation analogue-to-digital converter (ADC). It operates from a single 2.35V to 5.25V power supply and features throughput rates upto 1MSPS. It contains a low noise, wide bandwidth track-and-hold amplifier that can handle input frequencies in excess of 13MHz. The conversion process and data acquisition are controlled using active-low CS and the serial clock, allowing the devices to interface with microprocessors or DSPs. The input signal is sampled on the falling edge of active-low CS, and the conversion is also initiated at this point. There are no pipeline delays associated with the parts. It is used in applications such as battery-powered systems, personal digital assistants, medical instruments, mobile communications, instrumentation and control systems, data acquisition systems, high speed modems, optical sensors.

- Total unadjusted error is ±0.5LSB maximum at (VDD = 2.35V to 5.25V)
- Gain error is ±0.3LSB maximum at (VDD = 2.35V to 5.25V)
- Operating temperature range from -40°C to +85°C, 6-lead SC70 package
