The 172065-0008 is a 8-circuit 2-row 5.70mm pitch Mega-Fit® Vertical Header with gold-plated copper contacts and through hole termination. This 172065 series PCB header is made of high temperature thermoplastic, mates with 171692, 170001 series Mega-Fit® receptacle housing, suitable for power and wire-to-board applications. Mega-Fit® power connector delivers cutting-edge current density at 23.0A per circuit, terminals provides six independent contact points for long-term reliability in virtually every industry and application. Design engineers are faced with the challenge of greater power requirements with less PCB footprint space. Mega-Fit® power connector solve this issue, providing more power per linear- and square-millimeter than other mid-range power connectors in the industry while packaged in a feature-rich, reliable power system.
