The MAX6330LUR+T is a precision shunt regulator in 3 pin SOT-23 package. It combines a precision shunt regulator with a power-on reset function in a single package. It offers a low cost method of operating small microprocessor (µP)-based systems from high voltage sources while simultaneously protecting µPs from power-up, power-down and brownout conditions. It has an active-low push/pull output and output voltage has ±1.5% tolerance, it operates over a wide shunt current range from 100µA to 50mA and offer very good transient immunity. It allows significant reduction in board space and improves reliability compared to multiple-IC/discrete solutions. It is used in controllers, household appliances, intelligent instruments and critical µP and µC power monitoring.

- Operating temperature range from -40°C to 85°C
- Precision power-on reset threshold, 1.5% tolerance available with RESET (complementary) outputs
- 140ms reset timeout period, no external components required
- RESET threshold of 4.63V and shunt regulator voltage of 5V
- VSHUNT temperature coefficient is ±40ppm/°C
- Maximum reset pulse width is 200ms
