The Transil BZW50 series Transient Voltage Surge Suppressor Diode provides high overvoltage protection by clamping action. Its instantaneous response to transient over voltages makes it particularly suited to protect voltage sensitive devices such as MOS Technology and low voltage supplied ICs.
