Product Information
Product Overview
ADA4940-1 is an ultralow power, low distortion, fully differential ADC driver. It is an ideal choice for driving low power, high resolution, high performance SAR and Σ-Δ analogue-to-digital converters (ADCs) with resolution up to 16bits from dc to 1MHz on only 1.25mA of quiescent current. The adjustable level of the output common mode voltage allows the device to match the input common-mode voltage of multiple ADCs. The internal common-mode feedback loop provides exceptional output balance, as well as suppression of even-order harmonic distortion products. It is widely used in application such as low power PulSAR®/SAR ADC drivers, single-ended-to-differential conversion, differential buffers, line drivers, medical imaging, industrial process controls, portable electronics etc.
- Small signal bandwidth is 260MHz
- Extremely low harmonic distortion is −122dB THD at 50KHz, −96dB THD at 1MHz
- Low input voltage noise is 3.9nV/√Hz
- Offset voltage is ±0.06 typ
- Settling time to 0.1% is 34ns
- Rail-to-rail output is −VS + 0.1V to +VS − 0.1V
- Adjustable output common-mode voltage
- Disable pin to reduce power consumption
- Operating temperature range is -40°C to +125°C
- Package style is 8-lead SOIC-N
