Product Overview
AD5541AARMZ-REEL7 is a single, 16bit, serial input, unbuffered voltage output digital-to-analogue converter (DAC) that operates from a single 2.7V to 5.5V supply. Offering unbuffered outputs, this device achieves a 1µs settling time with low power consumption and low offset errors. Providing a low noise performance of 11.8nV/√Hz and low glitch, this device is suitable for deployment across multiple end systems. It is used in applications such as automatic test equipment, precision source-measure instruments, data acquisition systems, medical instrumentation, aerospace instrumentation, communications infrastructure equipment, and industrial control.
- 5kV HBM ESD classification, hardware active-low CS and (active-low)LDAC functions
- 50MHz SPI-/QSPI-/MICROWIRE-/DSP-compatible interface, power-on reset to code is zero scale
- Power-on reset clears DAC output to zero scale, 0.375mW power consumption at 3V
- Relative accuracy is ±0.5LSB typical at (VDD = 2.7V to 5.5V, 2.5V ≤ VREF ≤ VDD)
- Differential nonlinearity is ±0.5LSB typical at (VDD = 2.7V to 5.5V, 2.5V ≤ VREF ≤ VDD)
- Output noise spectral density is 11.8nV/√Hz typical at (DAC code = 0x0000, frequency = 1KHz)
- Output voltage settling time is 1μs typical at (½ LSB of full scale, CL = 10pF)
- Digital-to-analogue glitch impulse is 1.1nV-sec typical at (1LSB change around major carry)
- Zero-code temperature coefficient is ±0.05ppm/°C typical at (VDD = 2.7V to 5.5V, 2.5V ≤ VREF ≤ VDD)
- Operating temperature range from -40°C to +125°C, 10-lead MSOP package
