The MAX6423XS26+T is a low power microprocessor (µP) reset circuit with capacitor adjustable reset timeout delay in 4 pin SC-70 package. This supervisor circuit monitors system voltages from 1.6V to 5V. The device performs a single function such as it asserts a reset signal whenever the VCC supply voltage falls below its reset threshold. The reset output remains asserted for the reset timeout period after VCC rises above the reset threshold. The reset timeout is externally set by a capacitor to provide more flexibility. The MAX6423 has an active-low, open-drain reset output. It is typically used in portable equipment, battery powered computers, controllers, automotive, medical equipment, intelligent instruments, critical µP monitoring, set-top boxes, computers and embedded controllers.
