The MAX6367PKA31+T is a low power microprocessor (µP) supervisory circuit with battery backup and chip enable gating in 8 pin SOT-23 package. It simplifies power supply monitoring, battery backup control functions and memory write protection in µP systems. Improves size, accuracy and reliability of modern systems with an ultra small integrated solution. Performs 4 basic functions such as provide µP reset output during VCC supply power up, power down and brownout conditions. It internally control VCC to back-up battery switching to maintain data or low power operation for CMOS RAM, CMOS µPs, real time clock and other digital logic when main supply fails. Memory write protection through internal chip-enable gating during supply or processor faults and a battery-on output option. Typically used at critical µP/µC power monitoring, fax machines, industrial control, computers/controllers, set-top boxes, POS equipment and portable/battery powered equipment.
