The MAX6316MUK29CY+T is a microprocessor (µP) supervisory circuit with watchdog input and manual reset input in 5 pin SOT-23 package. This microprocessor (µP) supervisory circuit monitors power supplies and microprocessor activity in digital systems. It reset input starts or restarts the µP in a known state. The reset output of µP supervisory circuit interfaces with reset input of the µP, preventing code-execution errors during power-up, power-down and brownout conditions. It is used in portable computers, controllers, embedded control systems, portable/battery powered equipments and intelligent instruments.
- Operating voltage range from 1V to 5.5V, supply current is 10µA at VCC = 5.5V, 5µA at VCC = 3.6V
- Operating temperature range from -40°C to 125°C
- Reset active timeout period is 140ms (min), 200ms (typ), 280ms (max), watchdog timeout is 1.6s
- Factory-trimmed reset thresholds is 2.930V at TA = +25°C, active-low reset rise time is 5ns
- Reset threshold temperature coefficient of 40ppm/°C
- Active-low bidirectional reset output
- Integrated configuration enables flexible designs
- Integrated features increase robustness, reset valid to VCC = 1V
- Immune to short negative VCC transients
- Saves board space, no external components required
