The MAX6133A30+ is a high precision, low power, low dropout voltage reference in 8 pin µMax package. This device has low ±2ppm/°C (TA = -40°C to +125°C) temperature coefficient at and a low dropout voltage (200mV, maximum). Load regulation specifications are guaranteed for source currents up to 15mA. The laser trimmed, high stability thin film resistors together with post package trimming provide an excellent initial accuracy specification (0.06%, maximum). It consumes only 40µA of supply current (virtually independent of supply voltage), save system power and use minimal external components compared to 2 terminal shunt references. The unique blend of tiny packaging and excellent precision performance make this part ideally suited for portable and communication applications. This device is typically used in precision regulators, power supplies, high accuracy industrial and process control, hand held instruments, A/D and D/A converters.
