ADG798 is a low voltage, CMOS, analogue multiplexer designed to operate at very high temperatures upto 210°C. This device switches one of eight inputs (S1 to S8) to a common output, D, as determined by the 3-bit binary address lines A0, A1, and A2. An EN input on the device enables or disables the device. When the device is disabled, all channels are switched off. It features low power consumption and a 3.3V to 5.5V operating supply range. All channels exhibit break-before make switching action, preventing momentary shorting when switching channels. These switches are designed with an enhanced submicron process that provides low power dissipation, high switching speed, and very low on resistance. The on resistance (RON) is a maximum of 10 ohm and is closely matched between switches and very flat over the full signal range. It is widely used in application such as downhole drilling and instrumentation, avionics, heavy industrial, high temperature environments etc.
