AD8468 is a fast comparator fabricated on XFCB2.0, an Analog Devices, Inc., proprietary process. This comparator is exceptionally versatile and easy to use. The TTL-/CMOS-compatible output stage is designed to drive up to 15pF with full rated timing specifications and to degrade in a graceful and linear fashion as additional capacitance is added. The input stage of the comparator offers robust protection against large input overdrive, and the outputs do not phase reverse when the valid input signal range is exceeded. Application includes automotive applications, high speed instrumentation, clock and data signal restoration, logic level shifting or translation, high speed line receivers, threshold detection, peak and zero-crossing detectors, high speed trigger circuitry, pulse-width modulators, current-/voltage-controlled oscillators.
- Voltage range from -0.2 to VCC + 0.2V (-0.2VCC + 0.2V, TA = 25°C)
- Common-mode range is -0.2 (min, VCC = 2.5V to 5.5V, TA = 25°C)
- Offset voltage is ±3mV (typ, VCC = 2.5V, TA = -40°C to +125°C)
- Resistance, differential mode range from 200 to 7000kohm (-0.5V to VCC + 0.5V, TA = 25°C)
- Active gain is 80dB (typ, TA = 25°C), qualified for automotive application
- Common-mode rejection is 45dB (min, VCC = 2.5V, VCM = -0.2V to +2.7V)
- Sleep time is 300ns (typ, lCC <lt/> 100μA, TA = 25°C)
- Propagation delay range from 30 to 50ns (VOD = 10mV, VCC = 2.5V, TA = 25°C)
- Supply voltage range from 2.5 to 5.5V (TA = 25°C)
- 6-lead SC70 package, operating temperature range from -40°C to +125°C
