AD5424YRUZ-REEL is a CMOS 8-bit current output digital-to-analogue converter (DAC). This device operates from a 2.5V to 5.5V power supply, making it suitable for battery-powered applications and many other applications. This DAC utilizes data readback, allowing the user to read the contents of the DAC register via the DB pins. On power-up, the internal register and latches are filled with 0s and the DAC outputs are at zero scale. As a result of manufacturing with a CMOS submicron process, it offers excellent 4-quadrant multiplication characteristics, with large signal multiplying bandwidths of upto 10MHz. It is used in applications such as portable battery-powered applications, waveform generators, analogue processing, instrumentation applications, programmable amplifiers and attenuators, digitally controlled calibration, programmable filters and oscillators, composite video, ultrasound, gain, offset, and voltage trimming.

- Gain error is ±10mV maximum at (VDD = 2.5V to 5.5V, VREF = 10V, IOUT2 = 0V)
- Reference multiplying bandwidth is 10MHz typical at (VREF = ±3.5V; DAC loaded all 1s)
- Digital-to-analogue glitch impulse is 2nV-s typical at (1LSB change around major carry, VREF = 0V)
- Output noise spectral density is 25nV√Hz typical at (VDD = 2.5V to 5.5V, VREF = 10V, IOUT2 = 0V)
- Gain error temperature coefficient is ±5ppm FSR/°C typical at (VDD = 2.5V to 5.5V, VREF = 10V)
- Operating temperature range from -40°C to +125°C, 16-lead TSSOP package
