Product Overview
The ATXMEGA128A1-AU is a low power, high performance 8bit/16bit AVR XMEGA A1 microcontroller in 100 pin TQFP package. By executing instructions in a single clock cycle, the AVR XMEGA devices achieve CPU throughput approaching one million instructions per second (MIPS) per MHz allowing the system designer to optimize power consumption versus processing speed. The XMEGA A1 device has five software selectable power saving modes. The idle mode stops the CPU while allowing SRAM, DMA controller, event system, interrupt controller and all peripherals to continue functioning. It has QTouch library support for capacitive touch buttons, sliders and wheels.
