MAX11131AUI+

The MAX11131AUI+ is a 3Msps, low power, serial 12bit, 16-channel analogue to digital converter (ADC) in 28 pin TSSOP package. This device with external reference and industry leading 1.5MHz, full linear bandwidth, high speed and serial output successive approximation register (SAR) ADC. It includes both internal & external clock modes, devices feature scan mode in both internal, external clock modes. The internal clock mode has internal averaging to increase SNR. The external clock mode has SampleSetK technology, user programmable analogue input channel sequencer. The SampleSet approach provides greater sequencing flexibility for multichannel applications while alleviating significant microcontroller or DSP (controlling unit) communication overhead. Excellent dynamic performance, low voltage, low power, ease of use & small package makes this IC ideal for portable battery powered, data acquisition applications and for other applications that demand low power consumption & small space.

• User-defined channel sequence with maximum length of 256, 70dB SINAD at 500KHz input frequency
• Analogue mux with true differential track/hold, 16 single ended, 8 fully differential channel pairs
• 2 software-selectable bipolar input ranges ±VREF+/2 & ±VREF+
• High accuracy, ±1LSB INL, ±1LSB DNL, 15-channel pseudo differential relative to a common input
• External differential reference (1V to VDD), no pipeline delay, no missing codes
• 48MHz, 3-wire SPI/QSPI/MICROWIRE/DSP compatible serial interface
