Product Overview

The 42509 from Extech Instruments is a dual laser IR thermometer with colour alert feature. The meter has dual lasers for quick accuracy in target area and programmable high/low alarms. Adjustable emissivity from 0.10 to 1.00 increases measurement accuracy for different surfaces. It features adjustable high/low set points with audible alarm alerts user when temperature exceeds the programmed set points. The 42509 is one of the fastest and most accurate IR thermometers with dual lasers identifying distance and location where accuracy is highest. This infrared thermometer measures and displays non-contact temperature readings from -4 to 950°F (-20°C) to 510°C). Dual laser pointers ensure accurate targeting and temperature measurement. The colour alert feature indicates when high or low set points are exceeded. Proper use and care of this meter will provide years of reliable service. It has ±0.5% or 1.8°F/1°C repeatability, ±(1% of rdg + 1°C) basic accuracy & 0.1°F/°C maximum resoluti
