Product Overview
The MAX504ESD+ is a low power, voltage output, serial 10bit digital to analogue converter (DAC) in 14 pin NSOIC package. It is specified for single +5V power supply operation and can also be operated with ±5V supplies. The MAX504 (with 2.048V internal reference) draws only 260μA of supply current. It is trimmed for offset voltage, gain and linearity. Hence, no further adjustment is necessary. The internal op-amp of MAX504 can be configured for gain of 1 or 2 as well as for unipolar or bipolar output voltages. The device can also be used as a four quadrant multiplier without external resistors or op-amp. It is typically used in battery powered test instruments, digital offset and gain adjustment machine and motion control devices.
