Product Overview
The 2918 VI005 from Alpha Wire is a ThermoThin hook-up wire. It addresses the need for a high temperature wire that saves space and weight. It is well suited for oil and gas, semiconductor, energy generation/production and military applications where space is at a premium and extreme temperatures must be withstood. This ThermoThin wire offers 600V performance coupled with an exceptionally wide temperature range of -150°C to +300°C. ThermoThin wire's ECA fluoropolymer insulation contributes to the cable's smaller size while providing excellent dielectric properties as well as outstanding chemical resistance. It has excellent UV, chemical and water resistance.

- 18AWG (0.963mm²) wire size and 19/30AWG (19/0.254mm) stranding
- 0.006inch (0.14mm) insulation thickness and 0.058inch (1.470mm) outer diameter
- UL AWM 11540, UL 80°C oil, UL gas res, horizontal flame approvals
- Inductance is 0.03µH/ft (nominal), conductor DCR is 6.3ohm/1000ft at 20°C (nominal)
- High temperature performance in an ultra-thin wire
- Exceptionally small and lightweight
- Nickel plated copper conductors
- CE (EU low voltage directive 2014/35/EC) marked
- Bend radius is 10X cable diameter, pull tension is 14.9lbs (maximum)
